Dinner at Panera

This evening I went out to dinner with Mom and her friend Megan! I did super well walking next to the busy traffic and crossing the street! I was a little excited at first when we went inside, but I settled super quickly! We decided to eat outside! It was a lovely day!

Walk with mom

This morning mom and I went for a nice walk up to the park! Let's just say I had LOTS of energy! We worked on different surfaces and walking without pulling! Mom was also very impressed at how well I stayed connected when other dogs barked at us! They were very noisy! 

I was VERY happy! :)

Mom was on a bike trip this week. She is back now! :) Today we went on a nice hike!

Guess what?! It's International Assistance Dog Week! International Assistance Dog Week is held in August each year to honor all the hardworking assistance dogs, and raise awareness about these specially trained animals.

The basics

This morning Bliss and I played outside for awhile and had a little training session with mom! We worked on name response, recalls, sit, down, stay and stand. :) I did very well! It's very important that I practice these basic skills everyday so that someday I can hopefully become a successful guide dog!

          Running some errands! Well, more like walking. Mom wouldn't be too happy if I ran in the store.
