Two of my siblings were sent to a different school. Guide dogs need have a lot of confidence, learn quick, and be willing to work. That is why GEB conducts a puppy test at 8 weeks old to determine whether a pup will go into the pup program (continue guide dog training) or pursue a different career. They let the pups choose their career. I miss them, but I am sure they are doing amazing things at their other school.
